Notes:
Energy yields assume a good location for solar i.e. south facing with minimal obstruction,
and for wind, exposed area with no tall trees or buildings with an average or above UK wind speed (5m/s).
Annual cost saving is based on a typical residential electricity and gas prices. These may change in future,
and have not anticipated potential feed in tariffs which will significantly reduce payback on investment.
Depending on electricity supplier/purchaser any electricity produced over 500 kWh PA may be eligible for a Renewable Obligation Certificate (ROC). This is valued at around £46 for every 1000 kWh produced (rounded up from 501 kWh).
Bespoke solutions incorporating solar roof tiles and in roof systems can be provided. The prices here do not provide this.
