Feed-In Tariff latest.

Governement loses FIT appeal.

The Court of Appeal has upheld a High Court ruling that Government cuts to the Feed-in Tariff were unlawful.

However, DECC have announced their decision to seek leave to appeal in the Supreme Court which means a further period of uncertainty for those who have installed solar since December 12 as to whether they will be paid the higher rate of 43.3p or the proposed lower rate of 21p. Customers who register on or after March 3 will qualify for the current higher rate only until April 1, when the rates will drop to the lower rate of 21p per unit.
