Ardenham Energy was founded in 2007 by co-directors James Hoare and Harry Shepherd-Cross and was the first company in the UK to be awarded MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) accreditation. Since 2007, Ardenham Energy has carried out over 1,500 renewable energy installations of solar PV panels, heat pumps and solar thermal systems.
Ardenham Energy is based in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire from where it runs a nationwide operation, with sales offices in Surrey, East Anglia, The Midlands, Somerset and Yorkshire.
Technical expertise and innovation is at the core of the company’s success. Ardenham Energy has an experienced team of structural, mechanical, electrical and heating engineers and has developed bespoke solutions such as Barn Sure and MaxiShade to solve customer problems. Additionally Ardenham Energy has extensive knowledge of performance monitoring for photovoltaic systems, voltage conditioning and back-up power and off-grid energy solutions.
